Se ne va cos\u00ec un pezzo di storia del nostro territorio. Il giorno 11 novembre, alle ore 14, dopo circa 90 anni dalla sua costruzione, il vecchio Ponte in pietra che sovrastava imponente con le sue arcate l\u2019alveo del Torrente Terche, nei pressi della loc. Fontanella del Comune di Mel , \u00e8 stato scalzato dalle acque impietose alimentate dalle piogge dell\u2019ultima ondata di maltempo gi\u00e0 ribattezzato, dai media \u201c L\u2019alluvione di San Martino \u201c.<\/p>\n<p>Il vetusto manufatto, realizzato negli anni venti del secolo scorso, su progetto dell\u2019ing. Giovanni Battista Fontanive da Mel, rappresenta, assieme ad altri analoghi esempi ritrovabili puntualmente sui vecchi tracciati stradali del nostro territorio , un pregevole prototipo di architettura ingegneristica dei primi anni del \u2018900: spesso collocati come quinta prospettica negli alvei torrentizi e fluviali, perfettamente integrati con le loro ampie forme ad archi e le pietre bugnate.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_35622\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-35622\" style=\"width: 136px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bellunopress.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/stefano-cesa.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-35622\" title=\"stefano cesa\" src=\"http:\/\/www.bellunopress.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/stefano-cesa.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"136\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-35622\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Stefano Cesa<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Questi ponti oggi sono dismessi, ma oltre a rappresentare una valida alternativa per percorsi ciclabili vengono ancora all\u2019occorrenza utilizzati dai diversi Enti gestori delle strade, come alternativa viabilistica, per gli interventi di manutenzione: quindi, la loro conservazione resta ancora di fondamentale importanza considerata la sussidiariet\u00e0 cui essi assolvono.<\/p>\n<p>Ci\u00f2 premesso, sia sotto il profilo storico-architettonico che tecnico, questi vecchi ponti meritano ancora il nostro rispetto e la nostra attenzione.<\/p>\n<p>Nel caso del ponte sul Torrente Terche, gi\u00e0 nel 2002, un cittadino zumellese e noto professionista con una missiva, inviata al Magistrato alle Acque presso il Genio Civile di Belluno, denunciava lo stato di precariet\u00e0 del profilo di equilibrio del corso d\u2019acqua che lambiva le strutture del ponte.<\/p>\n<p>Molti sono stati i danni in tutto il territorio bellunese, ma quasi ovunque tutto si risolve una volta che le acque si sono ritirare e le strade liberate dalle frane. Nel nostro caso \u00e8 stata persa una grande testimonianza storico-artistica del passato che nessuno, probabilmente, sar\u00e0 pi\u00f9 in grado di ricostruire.<\/p>\n<p>Pertanto, oggi, ci\u00f2 che rimane di questo manufatto deve essere salvaguardato come parte importante della nostra storia e del nostro paesaggio.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019Amministrazione che rappresento far\u00e0 ogni sforzo possibile in questa direzione e a tale riguardo ho convocato per venerd\u00ec 16 novembre una conferenza di servizi alla quale sono chiamati a partecipare gli Enti competenti tra i quali il Genio Civile e Veneto Strade.<\/p>\n<p>Il Sindaco di Mel<\/p>\n<p>Ing.
