Cortina d’Ampezzo, 9 settembre 2023 – Si \u00e8 tenuta stamane alla stazione di monte della seggiovia Pian Ra Valles \u2013 Ra Valles \u2013 Bus Tofana, la presentazione di un progetto innovativo e sostenibile denominato “Rescue permafrost”. Questo progetto, concepito in collaborazione con esperti del settore, mira a prevenire il dannoso scioglimento del permafrost, un fenomeno sempre pi\u00f9 evidente a causa dei cambiamenti climatici globali.<\/p>\n

Alla guida del gruppo l\u2019ingegner Mario Vascellari presidente di Tofana Srl, che ha coordinato il progetto con una squadra altamente qualificata tra cui il dottor Geol. Claudio Valle di Geologia Applicata, l’ingegner Norbert Klammsteiner di Energytech Srl, il dottor Stefano Valle di Geoland Srl, il dottor Martin Atzwanger di Atzwanger SpA, il professor Andrea Gasparella della Facolt\u00e0 di Ingegneria dell’Universit\u00e0 di Bolzano, il professor Claudio Zilio del Dipartimento di Tecnica e Gestione Sistemi Industriali dell’Universit\u00e0 di Padova, il dottor Mauro Valt di ARPA Veneto – Arabba, l’ingegner Roberto Mendicino di EURAC Research Bolzano, l’Ingegner Piero Paccagnella di Tofana Srl e l’avvocato Guido Barzazi dello Studio legale Barzazi.<\/p>\n

L’innovazione principale di questo progetto \u00e8 la capacit\u00e0 di prevenire o rallentare il processo di scioglimento del permafrost, causato dalla diffusione del calore proveniente dalle masse circostanti. Questo obiettivo \u00e8 raggiunto attraverso l’implementazione di un ciclo frigorifero avanzato, in grado di trasferire il calore dalle zone pi\u00f9 fredde a quelle pi\u00f9 calde. Questa macchina frigorifera utilizza l’energia meccanica per facilitare lo scambio di calore tra il permafrost, la sorgente fredda, da cui viene estratto il calore raffreddandolo ulteriormente, e l’ambiente esterno, la sorgente calda, a cui viene ceduto il calore.<\/p>\n

L’intero sistema \u00e8 alimentato da un impianto geotermico combinato con una pompa di calore, che \u00e8 alimentata elettricamente da un gruppo di pannelli fotovoltaici installati sulla copertura della stazione di Ra Valles. \u00c8 importante sottolineare che l’intero processo \u00e8 alimentato esclusivamente da fonti di energia rinnovabile, eliminando completamente le emissioni di CO2. Questo approccio rende il progetto “Rescue permafrost” non solo altamente innovativo ma anche ecologicamente sostenibile e “green”.<\/p>\n

La stazione di monte della seggiovia Pian Ra Valles \u2013 Ra Valles \u2013 Bus Tofana \u00e8 stata scelta come luogo di sperimentazione per dimostrare l’efficacia di questa soluzione, offrendo un esempio concreto di come l’ingegno umano possa contribuire a mitigare gli effetti dei cambiamenti climatici sul permafrost nelle zone alpine.<\/p>\n
